FBI attempts to question Chicago international solidarity activists. Don’t talk to FBI!
On November 15, three FBI agents came to the Chicago home of an international solidarity
Chicago Area CodePINK stands in solidarity with the activists targeted with grand jury subpoenas by the US government. We condemn the actions of the federal government and pledge our full and complete support of those targeted.
Since the initial raids and subpoenas on September 24, 9 more subpoenas have been served. This brings the total targeted to 23. The warrants and subpoenas are being used as a way to intimidate and silence not only those targeted, but the entire peace movement and those that speak out against the U.S. policies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Columbia. We will support our brothers and sisters that have been targeted by the U.S. government.
We will hold U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder responsible for these attacks on our civil liberties. We demand that Holder put an end to the grand jury proceedings against anti-war and international solidarity activists. We demand that the FBI stop the repression against anti-war and international solidarity activists.
