Call In to LA District Attorney: Release Sam Carrera Now!
On Feb 18, the LAPD brutally attacked and arrested 3 members of Centro Community Service

On Feb 18, the LAPD brutally attacked and arrested 3 members of Centro Community Service Organization: Sergio Flores, Sam Carrera, and Lindsey Palma. They beat them with batons, shoved them, and without warning, arrested them. At this time, out of the three of them, Sam Carrera remains in jail. We are calling on all our supporters to call the Los Angeles district attorney, Nathan Hochman, and to demand he be released at once.
We in the Committee to Stop FBI Repression are calling for the immediate release of Sam Carrera. Neither him nor any of the other activists should have been arrested to be begin with. It was the police who harassed them and then brutalized them with batons and asssaulted them, and not the other way around. We are determined to see the Teamster and community organizer, Sam Carrera, be freed from jail as soon as possible, and the charges on those arrested that night to be dropped.
Centro CSO is also raising funds for bail and legal support: According to them, you can donate via Venmo to “CentroCSO” or via Zelle at 323-580-3764.
