In spring of 2011, subpoenaed activists organized regional conferences to build support for the case and collected statements of conference attendees.

Pete Seeger
"It's incredible that at this date in 2010 the FBI is still trying to carry on the work of J. Edgar Hoover. People should flood the offices in Washington with their opinions of this unconstitutional behavior."
Angela Davis
While the immediate targets of the raids were activists in movements in solidarity with trade unionists and others facing violence in Colombia and the Middle East, their purpose is to disrupt the unity of progressive movements by sowing suspicion, distrust, and an aura of guilt by association. I am not too young to remember the dark days of McCarthyism in our country, and I know very well what the effect of such government reprisals can be.
Anna Baltzer, Dec. 29, 2010
I send my full support for the international solidarity and anti-war activists who have been targeted by the FBI over the past months. These shameless attempts to silence dissent are testimony to just how effective these people of conscience have been at exposing the truth about US atrocities in Palestine, Colombia, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. The FBI’s scandalous repression will prove futile as the movements for global justice and an end to US and Israeli impunity grow stronger with every passing day. The ethically bankrupt actions by the FBI stand in stark contrast to the courage and integrity of the targeted activists.
